Decor throughout is equally theme-park in quality - on the surface it's all attractive and nice, but ultimately the fantasy factor and faux finishes are all underwhelming. It's a fitting welcome for what is, in many ways, an experience akin to visiting a massive shopping mall and amusement park swirled into one. The Ameristar is surrounded by a wide expanse of outdoor parking that's large enough toĪccommodate a small airport.
